Our Store Policies

Things You Need to Know

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

 

  • We aim to fulfill your order within 2 business days, but during peak times this time may occasionally be exceeded.  

  • We primarily use Canada Post Expedited Parcel for shipping, but may use alternates if available 

  • We offer a pickup option at checkout for those customers that live close to us and want to take advantage of this.  If you wish to pick items up, please email or call us to arrange a pickup time.

  • All orders are subject to product availability. Occasionally an item will show as in stock on the website but is physically out of stock.  If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of the out-of-stock item.  If the out-of-stock item constitutes the entire order, we will refund the full amount of the order using the original method of payment.

  • Shipping is calculated for Canada and North America at checkout based upon the order value and destination.

  • We comply with all Canadian export requirements, and we may not be able to ship to certain countries.

  • We will only declare the actual value of the order on customs paperwork and will not declare less than the order value. 

  • Any and all duties and customs charges associated with the import of an order are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • International shipments will be quoted after checkout is completed, and the order value will be updated with the shipping fee. The order will be held until the shipping fee is received. If the shipping fee is not received within 10 days the order will be cancelled and refunded less a restocking fee of 10% of the order value.

  • Additional charges may apply depending upon the destination of the package, or if it is a large or heavy package.  If such charges apply to your order, we will contact you before processing the order.

  • We are unable to ship paints over 30ml and solvents outside of the North American continent.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • We offer a 30 day return policy – on new unused and unopened products, less shipping and handling fees.

  • All goods must be in the original packaging, unused, and in original condition.

  • Special order items are non-refundable.

  • Clearance items are non-refundable.

  • Paint, aerosols and glues are non-refundable.

  • If your shipment is damaged in transit please contact us upon receipt of the shipment.  Some items may be opened by us prior to shipment to you to ensure there is no shipping damage upon receipt from our suppliers.  We do not check contents for completeness, only obvious damage.

SPECIAL ORDERS & PRE-ORDERS

Special Order:  An item identified as special order is an item we do not hold in stock and must order from the supplier.  We require pre-payment for these items and will confirm availability before processing your order.  We will work with you to make sure you are kept up to date on the delivery of the item. 

 

Pre-Order:  An item identified as Pre-Order is an item we have placed an order with the supplier for.  We will not allow pre-orders to exceed the number of items we have on order.  Given the limited availability of most items we carry in inventory it is possible that we do not receive the amount we have ordered.  If this happens orders will be fulfilled by date the pre-order was placed.  If your pre-order is not fulfilled, we will refund the full amount of the order using the original method of payment

 

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES

​Within Canada provincial tax rates will be charged according to the province or territory tax laws to which the item is shipped. 

It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any taxes, fees and duties, levied by destination country.  These fees vary greatly, and it is recommended that you contact the customs office of the destination country for more information.
